Elmau quadrille

For decades, the most beautiful and creative dancing in Germany took place in the famous cultural palace of Elmau near Garmisch: the typical Elmau dance with many figure-rich, fast and slow waltzes, Rhinelanders and the famous elegant and funny Elmauer quadrille to piano music. It is one of the few historic quadrilles that is still alive today and is considered a piece of dance heritage. You don’t need any basic dance knowledge and you can participate without a partner.
