Folk dance under the maypole

On Saturday the 30.04. The Volkstanzkreis Winsen presents itself from 10:00 a.m. with its dance groups in the center of Winsen. The children and adults are accompanied by live music from the FolkWin group and dance spontaneously at various locations in the pedestrian zone.

Folk dance connects – that’s why there is a joint “dance under the maypole” at 12:10 p.m. with a small round of simple join-in dances for all ages on the Schloßplatz.

On the first weekend in May, the “We’re back again” day of folk dance takes place throughout Germany. The dance groups can finally perform again after a two-year pandemic break.
