Museum day & market at the Beek

The Heimatverein “Niedersachsen”, the TV Scheeßel, the municipality of Scheeßel and the dance and traditional costume group “De Beekscheepers” invite you to the Museumsdag & Markt an de Beek again this year  on May 1st he went to Scheeßel to the Meyerhof. A regional market and old crafts are presented as well as performances from all departments of the Beekscheepers. This year, the group of friends from TVK Schlitz will be there as guests.

From 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., blue printers, bookbinders, basket and chair weavers, rope makers, salt workers, blacksmiths, spinners, stonemasons, wheelwrights and weavers will present the tricks and finesse of their craftsmanship. Hearty and sweet refreshments are provided: with bratwurst, wedding soup, cake, homemade butter cake, Knipp & Co. no stomach stays hungry.

On the meadow behind the sheepfold, the original Scheeßler costume group presents mowing by hand and the Scheeßel colorful apple trees.
